Extended Day and Child Care Programs

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board offers before- and after-school care for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Our Extended Day Program is led by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and grounded in faith-based, play-based learning that supports the whole child. It’s designed to be a natural extension of the school day in a setting that’s familiar, safe, and inclusive.

Some WCDSB schools are also home to before- and after-school programs operated by other organizations. These programs run independently, and registration processes and timelines may differ from WCDSB-operated programs. Families at schools where other care options are available, such as St. Patrick or the new South East Galt Catholic school, will receive specific communication about those programs.
