Student Census Outcomes
2021 – 2022
As part of our commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable learning environment, the WCDSB conducted its 2021 Student Census. Grounded in our Catholic values and inspired by the Gospel’s call to equity and justice, this initiative aims to better understand the diversity within our student body and address disparities in experiences and outcomes. The census results will help us deepen our understanding of the unique needs of our students, informing efforts to eliminate systemic barriers and enhance the well-being and success of every student.
The 2021 Student Census was designed to capture a wide range of self-identity, demographic, and experiential data. By analyzing the outcomes, we are equipped to identify areas of improvement and ensure that each student feels valued, respected, and supported in our schools. This work is aligned with provincial legislation and reflects our ongoing commitment to equity, diversity, and reconciliation.
