Goal 1: We will see workplace environments where every employee can feel safe, respected, and supported.
Indicators
- Percentage of workforce meeting standard in Guarding Minds @ Work and Workforce Census Scan
Goal 2: We will see physical spaces in schools reflecting the diversity of their local, national, and global communities.
Indicators
- Percentage of schools at standard for physical audit related to diversity and inclusion & qualitative evidence of physical spaces reflecting diversity within the WCDSB.
Promote a Sense of Mattering and Dignity
Goal: We will see students reporting that they feel a sense of mattering and dignity in their school environment.
Indicators
- Percentage of students who report feeling a sense of dignity and mattering on School Climate surveys.
- Percentage of students reporting wellbeing on Student Wellbeing Index.
Foster Equitable, Inclusive, and Barrier-Free Learning and Work Environments
Goal 1: We will see staff reporting barrier-free work environments.
Indicators
- Percentage of staff reporting a barrier free work environment on the WCDSB Workforce Census.
Goal 2: We will see reduced disproportionalities across EQAO results.
Indicators
- Decreased percentage of students experiencing disproportionalities in EQAO scores.
Engage Families and Build Community Partnerships
Goal 1: We will see Catholic School Advisory Councils across our system continuing to engage with families and the community.
Indicators
- Number of schools running a Catholic School Advisory Council-sponsored event.
Goal 2: We will see an increase in positive communications related to families, community partnerships, and our board in general.
Indicators
- Number of communications from centralized WCDSB social media accounts tagged as “Belonging”
- Proportion of positive-sentiment vs. negative-sentiment news stories featuring WCDSB contributions and/or responses.
