Dear Waterloo Catholic Community,

As we approach the conclusion of the Advent season, we wait in joyful anticipation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth. I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude and share some reflections with our Catholic school community.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to our dedicated educators and staff. Your unwavering commitment to our students’ well-being and academic growth has been nothing short of remarkable. Your hard work and resilience have ensured a successful start to the school year, and for that, I am very grateful.

With the Christmas break about to begin, I offer my warmest wishes to our students, their families, our staff and the entire Waterloo Catholic Community. May this holiday season be filled with the warmth of family and the spirit of giving. Let us remember, it is through acts of love and kindness that we truly embody the teachings of our faith.

This is also a time for reflection and a time to think of those in need. Thank you to all who have been involved in charitable work within the WCDSB community. Your support is greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind those in our community and throughout the world for whom Christmas is a difficult time. We continue to pray for peace in our world.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and look forward to the year ahead, I am eager to welcome you all back to our schools, where our students will continue to learn, grow and flourish. Together, we will embark on new adventures and inspire young minds to reach their full potential.

In closing, I wish you and your loved ones a truly blessed Christmas break and a holiday season filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. May your hearts be touched by the joy and wonder of this special time of year.

Sincerely,
Tyrone Dowling
