Electronic Mail and Social Media Use Guidelines – APS035

The guidelines outlined in this memorandum are intended to address the issues particular to electronic mail (e-mail) and social media environments provided by the Board and to ensure that:

  • Board staff are informed of the e-mail and social media use guidelines, extensions of the guidelines made applicable to the Board’s schools, and the applicability of other policies and laws to E-mail
  • E-mail and social media services are used in compliance with those guidelines and laws
  • ¬†Users of e-mail and social media services are informed about concepts of privacy and security
    Disruptions to the Board’s e-mail and social media services and activities are minimized
