
WCDSB CARES Recognition Program is designed to celebrate the outstanding contributions of staff in promoting wellness and a positive school and work environment. This program provides an opportunity for members of our community to recognize staff members who exemplify the values represented by the letters in “CARES”: Compassion, Advocacy, Resilience, Engagement, and Support.

Recognizing those who demonstrate exceptional kindness, empathy, and care for others.

Advocacy
Celebrating staff who champion the needs and well-being of students and colleagues, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.

Resilience
Honouring individuals who persevere through challenges with strength, determination, and a positive outlook.

Engagement
Acknowledging those who actively contribute to and strengthen school and Board communities through their commitment and involvement.

Support
Highlighting staff who consistently provide outstanding encouragement, assistance, and support to others.
