Human Rights
“Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being’s entitlement by virtue of his humanity.”
Mother Teresa

According to the United Nations, all humans are born free and equal in dignity and rights. We are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Basic rights include freedom of speech, privacy, health, life, education, liberty and security, as well as an adequate standard of living. Education is a powerful and important tool for promoting tolerance and strengthening respect for human rights and diversity, through understanding and awareness (Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UDHR).
