Applications are active on Apply to Education for one (1) year. Please contact Apply to Education directly for more information.

Due to the large number of applications we receive, the Board does not meet with individuals who call to request an appointment to present their resume. Everyone is welcome to submit their resume and the Board will contact you if you are chosen as a candidate as specific positions become available.

The probationary period varies from four months to one year depending on the employee group.

All permanent full-time support staff employees are eligible for Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS), which is the Board pension plan.  Teaching staff participate in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.

Yes.  All school board employees in Ontario must submit an acceptable Criminal Background Check as a condition of employment, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 521/01 of the Education Act.
