Purchasing Procedures – APO006

PURPOSE

The purpose of this memo is to provide direction to staff the Waterloo Catholic District School Board’s (‘Board’) procurement processes and to ensure decisions are consistent with the ethical and strategic objectives of the Board and the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act.

The following principles underpin these procedures:

  • Fair, open, and transparent procurement
  • Sustainability
  • Making use of collaborative purchasing options, where beneficial and or required by law
