 Summer Junior Web Designer


The position will report to the Chief Information Officer and will receive mentoring and direction from the Digital Media and Marketing Officer. Primary location will be St. Agatha School (1869 Notre Dame Dr, St. Agatha) or St. Francis School (51 McDonald Ave, Cambridge). This position has been funded by the Ontario Public Service through the Summer Experience Program.



  • Assist in the maintenance of the main WCDSB website and 45 school websites on a WordPress platform.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Board’s StaffNet, on SharePoint Office 365.
  • All training included with the positions.



  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in a computer science/technology degree and provide proof of enrollment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and networking
  • Basic knowledge of website maintenance using WordPress and SharePoint Online
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills are important during all stages of the project.


Salary Level:. $16.50 per hour

Hours:   Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
