Anyone renting our facilities must be a responsible adult at least 18 years of age.
Renting a school facility with our online application system makes things easy. First, create an account in our online database. Next, apply to rent your chosen facility using the online application software. Then, all you do is sit back and wait for your approved permit to be e-mailed to you.
The WCDSB will provide you with volleyball standards and the basketball nets that are in the gym. Tables and chairs that are onsite can be used as well, but must be requested when completing your permit request.
Depending on the school we have single, double and triple gyms to chose from. The data base will only show the facilities that are available at each school. Due to the demand for the larger gyms, we do not split the use of a double or triple gyms between groups.
The Ministry of Education subsidizes the rates for recognized not for profit youth and adult groups in our community. Click on the rates and categories tab to see what category your organization falls into as well as the applicable rates.
Every group using our school facilities must have minimum liability coverage of $2 million. The certificate of insurance must list the WCDSB as ‘additional insured’. A copy of your certificate must be received before your permit can begin. If your group needs to purchase insurance, please contact us.
The online software is a safe and secure and is set up to process permit charges against a Visa or Master Card. Applicable charges will be applied to your card once a month. You will have 24/7 access to your account through the online software to check your charges and payments.
