The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 23,000, provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties:

  • Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period at Elementary and Secondary Schools.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or over;
  • Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

 

Desirable Assets:

  • Experience working with children
  • Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
  • Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;
  • Ability to work as a team player;
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

 

Salary Range: $22.20 – $23.46 (update rates) per hour, Level 1 (Compensation Grid effective September 1, 2021)

 

Hours of Work:  1 hour per day between 11:00am to 1:30pm (Monday to Friday)

 

Effective Date: Approximately September 7, 2021

 

Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year (September – June)
