Our Ongoing Response to the Challenges of COVID-19
The safety, health and well being of everyone in Waterloo Region’s Catholic schools – in mind, body and spirit — is always our top priority.
As we continue learning and working together in the ever-changing era of COVID-19, we understand there will continue to be questions about both the structure and operation of our schools.
Rest assured, our quality, inclusive, faith-based education system is standing strong in the face of COVID-19 and our schools continue being the very heart of our community – offering success for each, and providing a place for all.

Guidance, Protocols, and Resources from Region of Waterloo Public Health
As always with respect to health concerns, the WCDSB takes its guidance from the appropriate medical authorities and follows all legislation and mandated protocols.
These protocols have been developed based on information provided by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour and Region of Waterloo Public Health – as well as the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Further specific guidance that is particular to curricular areas, has been informed by broader provincial and national association input.
As the lead local authority in the ongoing fight against COVID-19, Region of Waterloo Public Health (ROWPH) has compiled important information and a selection of resources to assist families with children in school:
