Listed below are the areas for which applications are currently being accepted for:


Elementary: All
Secondary: All

 

Minimum Requirements to be considered for daily occasional, long term occasional, and permanent teaching assignments:

  • Cover letter and resume
  • A complete Declaration of Commitment – available on our website: https://www.wcdsb.ca/careers/how-to-apply/
  • Copy of Roman Catholic baptismal certificate. A confirmation certificate from a Roman Catholic Church is sufficient ONLY if you were baptized in affiliation with a Christian denomination other than Roman Catholic
  • Catholic Pastoral Reference form – found on our website https://www.wcdsb.ca/careers/how-to-apply/
  • Two (2) professional academic references
  • Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification
  • Most recent teacher performance appraisal summative reports OR practice teaching reports (if applicable)

  • Cover letter and resume
  • Copy of a Roman Catholic baptismal certificate from a Roman Catholic Church

  • Two (2) professional academic references
  • Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification

Application Process:

All requested documents must be provided; Candidates unable to provide all required documentation should apply to a subsequent posting once their application package is complete.

Please note: Incomplete applications are not considered for interview.

Applications and supporting documentation stating qualifications and teaching experience will be received until December 19th  at 4pm via website: www.applytoeducation.com.

 

The interview sessions are scheduled to be held at the Board office on Saturday, January 19, 2019.  Successful candidates will be invited to attend an orientation session on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

 

 

Only those candidates selected for an interview will be notified.
