Transition planning is a collaborative process between students, parents, school board personnel and the community

The role of the Community and Workplace Officer is:

To assist students in making a successful transition from school to work, further education and community living.
To inform parents and staff of resources and programs within the community to support the students transition.
To communicate with representatives of agencies the needs of students in their transition planning.
