Entering Kindergarten
Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year kicks off Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in Waterloo Region’s 46 Catholic elementary schools -- providing the Region’s youngest citizens with a chance to benefit from a 176 year tradition of education excellence.
Children born in 2008 are eligible for Junior Kindergarten. Children born in 2007 are eligible for Kindergarten. Registration runs until Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
Parents are invited to contact their local Catholic school directly for individual registration dates and times.
What You Need to Bring
- Child’s Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate or one Parent’s RC Baptismal Certificate
- Proof of Home Address (utility bill, property tax assessment, tenant lease, etc.)
- Child’s Health Immunization Record
- Child’s Proof of Age and Legal Name (please provide one of the following documents):
- Birth Certificate
- Certified Birth Registration
- Adoption Papers
- Certificate of Indian Status
- Passport
