The Board of Trustees voted on the recommendations of the West Kitchener Accommodation Review Committee on June 22, 2009. The following has been approved: New Boundaries
Recommendation #2:
2009-90 -- It was moved by Fr. Robert Hétu and seconded by D. Blum:
THAT, effective September 2010 the boundaries for St. Paul and St. Mark be modified in accordance with Option 1a. --- Carried by consensus
Recommendation #3:
2009-91 -- It was moved by G. Reitzel and seconded by J. Gowing:
THAT, the Board consider a grandparenting provision to allow students of St. Mark’s and St. Paul’s entering grade 7 and grade 8 in September 2010 to finish their elementary schooling at their existing school however no transportation would be provided. --- Carried by consensus
2009-92 -- It was moved by J. Nairn and seconded by J. Gowing:
THAT Recommendations #1, and #4 through #7 be tabled until September 8 to come back and report if there is a 3rd option. --- No consensus

Recommendation #5:
2009-95 -- It was moved by M. da Silva and seconded by G. Reitzel:
THAT, new students entering the school system for the first time in September 2009 and September 2010 be allowed to enroll at their new school subject to the normal provision of out of boundary permission. No transportation would be provided. --- Carried by consensus
Recommendation #6:
2009-96 -- It was moved by M. da Silva and seconded by G. Reitzel:
THAT, a plan to address building conditions at St. John be prepared by board administration and presented to the Board of Trustees by May 2010. --- Carried by consensus
Recommendations
Option 1a will be recommended to the Board of Trustees on Monday May 25, 2009.
