Education Development Charges

[May 16, 2011] The Waterloo Catholic District School Board approved its new Education Development Charges By-Law. This By-law is effective June 1, 2011, for a term of 5 years. The Board may amend its By-law on an annual basis. The approved charge to be applied on new residential building permits in the Region of Waterloo as of June 1, 2011 is $425 per unit. The approved charge to be applied on new non-residential building permits in the Region of Waterloo as of June 1, 2011 is $0.31 per square foot.
